Kelowna has an interesting wine culture.  From national labels to family farms, organic to fruit wines, the diversity, quality and uniqueness of Okanagan wines draws visitors year round.

BC Wine Museum and wine shop needs to be at the top of your wine scouting list.  Not only a museum of the argriculture industry in the valley, it features a complete mosaic of wines found in this area.  Over 70 wineries are represented and display their craft.  Many of these wineries do not have the volume to sell through liquor stores or larger shops.  The wine shop is non-profit and has the wines on consignment from the producer which means for you; an incredible selection of local, wallet friendly, VQA wines.

Rollingdale winery won the 2010 organic winery of the year award for its outstanding wines.  The winery is open 10 -6 daily and produces an array of red, white and ice wines.

Summerhill Pyramid winery is certified organic and produces premium organic wines including ice wines and sparkling wines.  The Sunset Organic Bistro blends delicious fare with amazing views.

Quails Gate Estate Winery is know for its chardonay and pinot noir.  Located in a beautiful setting overlooking Okanagan Lake.

Mission Hill Family Estate winery offers great wine along with its stunning architecture.  Perched on a West Kelowna hilltop, this winery is a must see.

St. Hubertus Estate Winery was originally planted in 1928 making it one of the oldest established vineyards in the valley.  The 76 acre vineyard uses sustainable farming practices and offers free tastings.  Enjoy a glass at the picnic area overlooking the vineyard and lake.  One of only 2 wineries in BC to grow the Chasselas varietal.

Cedar Creek Estate Winery's philosophy is "Respect the land, honour tradition, pursue perfection" and is twice named Canada's winery of the year. 

Gray Monk Estate Winery was established in 1972 and is truly a multi-generational estate winery.  The winery offers free tours and the Grapevine restaurant is not to be missed.

Tantalus Vineyards is dedicated to growing and vinifying limited quantities of exceptional Riesling, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.  Tours are by appointment.

Mt Boucherie Estate Winery is one of BC's newest family estate wineries.  The wines include only their estate grown grapes. Tours and tastings available year round.

Kalala Organic Estate Winery is open year round for tastings of their award wining certified organic wines.

Camelot Vineyards is a family owned winery with a medieval flair.  Combined with excellent wine and scenery for a memorable visit.  The wine shop is open year round.

Sperling Vineyards has roots to the earliest Kelowna pioneers.  The tasting room is located at the Pioneer Country Market.

Spierhead winery has a true farm feel with orchards and a pumpkin patch.  The visitors centre has art displays, a variety of cheeses, olives, baguettes, and cold cuts.  Beautiful wines hand selected and fermented in small batches.
