Summers in Kelowna are hot.  This what we love about the Okanagan.  Blue sky, warm lakes, fresh veggies and fruit, and natural surroundings of simple beauty.

• Stroll down Bernard Avenue and duck into the many air conditioned shops on Bernard Avenue.
• Enjoy a cold beer at a downtown street cafe
• Lick a cone at an ice cream shop
• Hop into the lake at one of the many many beaches.
• Visit the spray park in City Park.
• Rent a jet ski or a boat from Kelowna’s waterfront pier.
• Taste wine, or beer, or cider, or spirits
• Hit the heights where the temperatures are a bit cooler.  Visit Myra Canyon, Hike at Big White, or fish an alpine lake.
• Taste artisan goat cheese and see how it’s made.
• Visit Atlantis Waterslides
• See everything from above with a helicopter tour.

And when your day winds down, you can retreat to your cool room at the Siesta Suites, where the air-conditioners are always in top form and the pools cool.
